Why Families Refer Us
"Our nanny Kien has a very fun loving energy that was very helpful for first time anxious parents like us. She communicates well in person & on WhatsApp to keep us updated on baby’s feeding timings, diaper change etc giving us a peace of mind while we’re resting in another room. She took great care of both baby and I. She was personally invested to feed me well so I can produce good milk for my baby. Overall very accommodating, efficient, experienced & easy going. Would highly recommend her to new mummies & would definitely engage her again should we have a second baby in future!"

"We were extremely fortunate to have such an amazing confinement nanny Mei Ling Jie (Chong Moi Leng) with us. She was just like a mother—providing extra care, concern, and genuine warmth throughout her stay. What stood out most was how detailed and patient she was in teaching us everything we needed to know as new parents. From proper feeding techniques, to putting the baby to sleep, to understanding bowel routines, and even showing us how to bathe the baby safely—her priority was always the baby’s well-being. Her kindness and love for our little one were obvious every single day. We felt completely at ease leaving our baby in her care, allowing us to rest well at night without worry. She handled every task with gentleness and professionalism, and our baby adored her too. We are deeply grateful for her dedication, patience, and the peace of mind she gave us. Before the end of contract, she even managed baby’s routines so well that it was a breeze when we took over! Truly an exceptional confinement nanny—highly recommended."

"Engaged newbubs for our first born for 40 days. The process is very easy with clear instructions and timeline on what to expect. Hua Jie (Flower Sis) was assigned to us. She was really caring towards baby, and patient in teaching us as we are first time parents. Her cooking is really good as well! She also did not give us any problems at all. Really thankful for newbubs and Hua Jie to make our first step in parenting so much easier, we were both able to get ample rest with such an experienced nanny"

"I am so grateful for Lan Jie and the wonderful care she provided during my confinement. She truly reminded me of my own mother — attentive, caring, and always thinking of my comfort. Her cooking was amazing, and she always checked for my preferences while also generously preparing meals for my husband and toddler without ever counting or complaining. Beyond meal times, she took excellent care of both me and my baby, and kept the house clean. She is accommodating, thoughtful, and has such a warm personality — we shared so many laughs and lovely memories together. Having Lan Jie around made this postpartum period so much easier and happier. I couldn’t recommend her more highly — she is professional, loving, and truly goes above and beyond. 🌸"

"Thank you Newbubs and Jenny (Lim Cing Feng) for the wonderful experience during my confinement period. Firstly, Newbubs had been very responsive and answered every of my queries patiently, everything was handled professionally and fuss free. Secondly, our family had been very blessed to have Jenny around for my confinement period. She cared for us wholeheartedly, giving my baby her undivided attention and when in times of baby's fussiness, she was patient in calming him down. I could sense the love she has for babies and was really assured when leaving baby to her. Her knowledge, confidence and experience gave me an immense peace of mind, whereby I could really rest and recuperate. She also guided me step by step, from feeding and bathing to understanding baby’s cues. Jenny constantly checked on my well-being, prepared deliciously nourishing meals, ensured that I am well rested and supported my recovery with so much care. I love how naturally she clicked with all of us at home, there was definitely much more laughter and warmth in the house during her stay with us. Thank you for everything, Jenny. We are deeply grateful for the care and dedication you have provided throughout the confinement period. 💕"

"We were very fortunate to have Auntie Mei Lin (Hah Mee Lin) as our confinement nanny for 40 days. She is caring, reliable, and highly experienced. Auntie Mei Lin prepared delicious and nutritious meals every day whilst catering to our food preferences, making sure both mummy and baby were well taken care of. She looked after our newborn with great patience and love, and also helped with household chores (cleaning and laundry), which gave us peace of mind during this important recovery period. Her cooking was always tasty and varied, and she was proactive in ensuring the home was comfortable and well managed. Most importantly, she gave us guidance on feeding and caring for our new born, boosting our confidence as new parents. We are truly grateful for her support and would highly recommend Auntie Mei Lin to any family looking for a dedicated and trustworthy confinement nanny."

You’ve probably been in Facebook groups at 11pm, scrolling threads, trying to work out which confinement agency is actually worth trusting.
And you’ve seen the stories that keep mums up at night.
The nanny who slept more than the baby. The one who walked out on day 5 — and the “replacement” who had never done confinement in Singapore. The feeding schedule that ended at the paediatrician’s.
These aren’t small worries. They’re the reason you’re still comparing agencies at 11pm.
Here’s what most families only realise too late: most agencies list nannies like a catalogue — and hope for the best once she steps through your door. No standardised training. No vetting for bedside manner. No real backup plan if she leaves. You find out who she is when she’s already in your home, and you’re already exhausted.
We started Newbubs because we thought that was a ridiculous way to run an agency.
WHY CHOOSE US
The Newbubs Confinement Difference
So we don't just match nannies. We train them — and then we make them prove it.
Every Newbubs nanny completes 100+ hours of theory and practical training, then a supervised internship at our own Confinement Centre, before she is ever placed with a family. Real newborns. Real supervision. Not a slide deck.
Before she steps into your home, she has already been assessed on:
- Newborn feeding — amounts, cues, and schedules by age and weight
- Understanding baby’s crying and the 5S soothing method
- Bathing, skin care, and proper holding positions
- Newborn sleep care and massage
And she’s trained to do one thing most nannies never do: teach you. What each cry means, what a latch tells you, what’s normal and what’s not — so when day 28 comes, you’re not back to square one. You’re the parent who knows.

“This is the first time for me to consider confinement nanny service and I can say I’m glad to have trusted NewBubs Confinement Agency! From the initial phone call with Lloyd, there was already a good understanding of my needs and they focused on flexible and quality terms of services rather than just discussing costs and rates. Special mention to our assigned professional nanny, Auntie Chris – who made my postpartum/confinement journey smooth and memorable. Aside from her knowledge in taking care of a newborn and looking after me through well planned meals to supporting my breastfeeding choice, she is also proactive and able to connect and establish good chemistry with my other kids and other household members. I would highly recommend her and this agency. Thanks again for this good experience!”

“Engaging NewBubs for confinement was the best decision ever. Our confinement nanny (May Quah) allocated to us was knowledgeable and experienced, she guided us through the entire period and not only did she provide comfort for the baby, she also gave us plenty of assurances along the way as first time parents. Whenever I’m up for my nightly pumps, she will prepare hot beverages for me. She’s clean and is a great cook. She takes good care of my dog too! With her easygoing and likeable personality, my family also bonded quickly with her and were sad to see her leave. With this great first time experience with NewBubs, I would highly recommend NewBubs as the number one choice for confinement nannies and will definitely look for May again if I have a second pregnancy.”

Our commitment to you
We’ll be upfront with you: no nanny is perfect, and neither is any match. Sometimes it’s chemistry. Sometimes it’s communication. Sometimes it just doesn’t click — and that’s okay.
That’s why every NewBubs placement comes with unlimited replacement, handled personally and without delay. It’s one of the reasons our mummies keep referring their friends and family to us — even years after their confinement ends.
Simple And Transparent Pricing
A note on timing
Nannies are confirmed by due month, and popular months fill early — most mums book in their second trimester. Dates around Chinese New Year are usually the first to go.
If your EDD is in the next six months, it costs nothing to check: send us your due month on WhatsApp and we’ll tell you honestly how availability looks.
Confinement Rates for 2026
From $4,100 for 28 days
that's about $147 a day.
Included:
- Your internship-trained confinement nanny
- Work permit application — handled by us
- Free home vaccination and baby development checks (Singapore citizens; discounted for PRs and foreigners)
- Access to the NewBubs×Salus evidence-based pregnancy and parenting guide
The honest extras (most agencies don’t show you these — we’d rather you budget properly):
- MOM levy, payable directly: $1.98/day if your baby is a Singaporean citizen, $6/day otherwise
- Optional confinement nanny insurance: $100/month
- The customary red packet: we don’t set a minimum — it’s the thought that counts. Market practice is $20–$50.
*Free for Singaporean Citizens only. Foreigners and Permanent Residents (PRs) can still register for the program at a discounted fee.

FAQs
About Our Confinement Agency & Nannies
What if my nanny and I don't click?
We’ll be upfront: no match is certain. Sometimes it’s chemistry, sometimes it’s communication — and that’s okay. Every Newbubs placement comes with unlimited replacement, handled personally and without delay. Every replacement comes from the same internship-trained pool, so the standard never drops.
Can I choose or meet my nanny before confirming?
We don’t pre-assign specific nannies months in advance — and honestly, no agency can do that reliably. Babies arrive anywhere from week 37 to 42, and a nanny promised to you in March is very likely still with another family when your labour starts. What we commit to instead is the standard: every nanny in our pool has completed 100+ training hours and a real internship at our Confinement Centre. You’re matched from that pool closer to your delivery — so whoever arrives is already vetted to the same bar.
What if my baby comes early, or late?
That’s exactly why we match closer to your actual delivery. Your date moves; our pool doesn’t. Tell us as your EDD updates and we adjust.
What happens if my nanny falls sick or has to leave mid-confinement?
You’re never left alone with a newborn and no plan. Typical replacement turnaround is 48 hours, and every replacement comes from our own internship-trained pool — not whoever can be found that week. It’s handled personally by our team, without delay.
Wouldn't a freelance nanny be cheaper?
Here’s the surprise: usually not. The freelance market is unregulated — rates average around $3,800 for 28 days, and some quote $5,000 or more. So for roughly the same money, a freelancer comes with no training standard, no backup if she walks out on day 5, and no one accountable if things go wrong. With Newbubs, the same budget buys the system around the nanny: 100+ training hours, a real internship, a 48-hour replacement process, and a MOM-licensed agency (23C1524) that answers the phone.
What exactly does the package include — and what doesn't it?
From $4,100 for 28 days: your internship-trained nanny, work permit application, free home vaccination and baby development checks (Singapore citizens; discounted for PRs and foreigners), and the NewBubs×Salus parenting guide. Payable separately: the MOM levy ($1.98/day for a Singaporean-citizen baby, $6/day otherwise), optional nanny insurance at $100/month, and the customary red packet — no minimum from us, market practice is $20–$50.
What happens after I enquire? Will I get chased by sales calls?
No. You’ll get a WhatsApp reply from a real person who’ll ask about your EDD and what support you’re looking for, then share availability and pricing for your month. If it’s not right for you, say so — that’s the end of it.
When should I book?
Second trimester is the sweet spot. Early enough that your month still has good availability, late enough that your dates are stable. Third trimester is still workable — just message us first to check your month before comparing further.
Will she respect how I want to parent?
Yes — and this is trained, not hoped for. Our nannies follow your lead on breastfeeding, routines, and modern practices: culturally respectful, never rigidly traditional. Her job is to support your choices and teach you as she goes — not take over your home.
