"I was initially assigned a nanny that didn't sit very well with my family.Upon knowing this,Lloyd and his team were quick to jump in to listen and help ease any discomfort my family and I were facing.Unfortunately we couldn't resolve the mismatch and what impressed us was the compassion and empathy the team provided to us.We were responded to always almost immediately and a replacement nanny was provided within the agreed 48hours gap. One standout feature was that Newbulb operates its own confinement centers, which gave us extra confidence in their standards and procedures. They also have nannies willing to accommodate specific requirements, like working in a multi-story house without a lift and having a dog. "My first interaction with Lloyd was very pleasant. He took the time to listen to my requirements and gave me a good overview of the confinement nanny services. We needed a nanny who could get along with our anxious and protective dog. We were pleased that New Bubs was able to meet this crucial requirement. Nanny Cindy worked with us from 6 to 15 February. She adapted well to us especially when she first came as we had not fully organised our home due to my unexpected early delivery. She had a can-do attitude and helped organise set ups needed for the care of baby. She is proactive and conscientious in her work, especially on time and feeding of baby. I also liked that she was conscious of budgets when we went out to do marketing. She looked after us well and made nutritious meals. She accompanied me with baby to baby's doctor appointments and anticipated baby's needs at all times. She advised and taught me alot about the care of a baby. I commend her for her good work ethics, going above and beyond her care of duty. Nanny Ah Cai worked with us from 15 to 28 February. I liked that she went with the flow and adapted very quickly to us. She is flexible, calm and looked after baby's needs very well, letting me get alot of rest. She is independent and organised, as she did our marketing for food. Her meals were delicious. She is very easy going and experienced and I learned alot from her. I recommend her for experience and great attitude. Overall, New Bubs arranged very experienced nannies who could adapt well to our family, especially our dog. In order to circumvent a potential flu situation, the arrangement of the second nanny to take over from the first nanny was very smooth. For the baby, not only she took care of everything, but she was also super patient and responsive. For the mummy, I certainly enjoyed the food she prepared, and I got great advice from her on how to take care of the baby and also myself. She asked me to rest as much as I could and leave the work to her. We couldn’t imagine going through this exciting but tiring first month without her. "Mei Ling is an exceptional confinement nanny who has truly exceeded our expectations. We are incredibly grateful for her dedication and the invaluable support she provided to our family in so many
ways:
1. Despite the demanding task of caring for our newborn twins, she went above and beyond by preparing meals for the entire family—including my wife, our elder son, and me. I was deeply touched to see her sometimes preparing meals late into the night, even though it was beyond her duty.
2. She took the initiative to train our helpers, ensuring they were well-prepared to take over the babies' care after her departure. She paid close attention to every detail, from feeding and diaper changes to bath time. For a natural delivery, it could be as early as 37 weeks or as late as 42 weeks. If a confinement nanny is assigned upfront, she might not be available for you if your delivery date changes.We have attempted doing so, but it resulted in more stress for the mother than comfort.
